Timothy Barnes

was born in Morocco and raised half in England half in Germany.

He initially wanted to be a comic artist but then, at the age of 22, picked up a camera. After absolving an internship at the pinewood studios in London, he went on to do summer classes at the ICP ( International Center of Photography ) in New York. After various residencies in England and Germany, he currently lives in Hamburg.
