is based in London since 1996 and works for a wide range of editorial and advertising clients. He grew up in Leipzig/ East Germany and emigrated to West Germany in 1986. Whilst studying fine art at high school he was introduced to black and white photography. He then went on to study photography at London College of Communication where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2000. His final project Grenzland took Peter back to East Germany - 10 years after the collapse of the Berlin wall. He travelled the length of the former border between East and West, documenting the landscape and portraying inhabitants of the area. These early images helped to shape his honest approach to photography and still influence his current work, which ranges from the architectural to landscapes, as well as portraits, cars and more recently furniture. His graphic style draws a line between these disparate subjects with a sense of truth and realism.
